Jean Babilée performs Roland Petit's ballet in which a man flirts with death. Petit choreographed this in 1946 to Bach's Passacaglia in C Minor, BWV 582, with a one-act libretto by Jean Cocteau. Revived by Mikhail Baryshnikov in 1975, and in the 1985 movie "White Nights."
