Incredible athletic accomplishments aside, Martin’s true passion lies in developing the F.I.I. system. His passion for human physiology and improving freediving training methods has pushed the F.I.I. curricula to the forefront of freediving education available today.
Martin is a native of the Czech Republic with a degree in Forestry Engineering followed by advanced studies in Sports Biology. As a qualified deep sea commercial diver, Martin has extensive experience in mixed gas diving, hyperbaric chamber operations and saturation diving. Martin is a certified Level B AIDA International Judge and also works with top researchers from Harvard University and the Karolinksy Institute on freediving and applied physiology research. He brings his enthusiasm, dedication and inspiration to thousands of people around the world, training everyone from royal families to local enthusiasts in the joys of freediving.
