Egyptian Youth Define Democracy
"In 2010 we had this idea that we wanted to make a movie that would talk about Democracy and teach it to the younger generation of Egypt. We filmed with kids ages 7-16 asked them to define Democracy and to tell us a story that would elaborate on the concept. What is amazing to me is that one of them told a story of people uniting together and overthrowing a Dictator. Which is exactly what happened in Egypt in Jan and Feb of 2011.
Interviews were shot on 7D, composting shots were shot using Sony HDV, we used lots of animation techniques to tell the stories that the youth made.
This project done in 7 days with my animation team @ Arascope, with one of the professional person in shading in Maya (Jeremy vickery) who thought us the concept art and Shading . we appreciate him so much.
