Shot on Kodak 16mm Film
Shot with the new Lomokino 35mm hand-cranked movie camera. Uses 35mm still film and takes 2-perf tall frame.
Had Wolf Camera process and scan the negative. Wound up with 4 frames per scan. The 1st and/or last frame on each scan sometimes was cut off a little as their scan didn't capture 4 frames completely.
Opened them in Photoshop and manually copied each frame into a new Photoshop 1280x460 document. I adjusted each frame a little so it turned out more steady than it really was shot.
Set up the animation within the Photoshop document like making a animated web ad. Set each frame to .2 seconds and exported via Photoshop "render video" option.
Took about 40 minutes the first time.
Short collection of 35mm Eyemo test clips.
Finally have the crystal Eyemo up and running with a Nikon mount thanks to friends at Panavision. Focus and framing is by best guestimate.
Film: Fuji 64D short ends
Transfer: Spirit HD

Many thanks to James Kwiatkowski and his team at Technicolor.
Starting this channel for the film lovers out there. Nothing against digital, it's just too easy! There are some obvious advantages/disadvantages with both. This channel isn't a statement just a place to showcase the amazing format that's been around well over 100 years!

I do love film and shoot everything from Super8mm to 65mm IMAX. Let's all pray for Kodak to survive!
Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
