Spent a couple hours in the park the other day with our new dog Toby. Wanted to mess around a little bit more with my 55-250mm lens for my T2i. Just did a real quick edit that shows the kind of shots you can get even with a lower end $400 kit lens like this one. I was standing 20-30ft away in most of the shots. All color correction done in After Effects.

Over the last 2 weeks I`ve been testing out the hacked GH2 and some different patches quite a lot (sky-banding, iso 1600, IQ 24p vs 60p... etc). Here I`ve put some stuff together. Nothing special, only some random shots...
My conclusion:
There are 3 important advantages of the hacked over the unhacked Panasonic GH2 imo:
- much less sky-banding
- the IQ of the 720p60 is now on par with the 1080p24. I couldn´t discover any differences in IQ, even…
