Condorcam was out at the 2014 Rolex Kentucky- we covered the cross country event with our system, which was live to the world. Echo Entertainment produced an hour show for NBC, using our footage from the event. It was a true pleasure to work with everyone at the event. It was great to get such positive feedback from riders, fans and staff, telling us how our system was so quiet and non invasive to the horses...look forward to the next time!
Also, BIG THANKS to Jeff Engerbretson for capturing all the behind the scenes & slow mo shots!
Condorcam had the opportunity to collaborate with Hoptocopter Films and use their Movi M10 head on our RAILcam for DeVotchka's Valentine's Day show at the Mercury Cafe in Denver. This Video is to showcase the CC RAILcam and the shots it can get in a concert setting. Special THANKS to DeVotchKa for being our centerpiece!
Here is a time lapse of Condorcam crew setting up for a Interview up at Loveland Pass, Colorado. We were shooting Cory Richards (TNF Athlete & "COLD" Documentary) for the Red Bull Ultimate Rush TV series. This was done on Condorcam's CC-Slider- it was a 5 ft slide for an hour each way, 1 frame every 5 sec with a GoPro 2.
Here's a look at the Movi on the Condorcam cablecam system for the initial test. Industry Denver gave us the go ahead to shoot in their space, which we strung up a line and went for it on a cold day in December. After the first few passes, we (Condorcam) were very pleased with the results. All "cast" in the video are all camera operators and techs...I have to say we had fun goofing off, "staging" shots, and being in front of the camera for this test. We did the test to see how the Movi 10 head acted with the Condorcam cablecam system with fast starts and sudden stops to slow moves. The Movi preformed better than I had thought and has made me a believer in the product. In fast moves and sudden stops, the horizon never changed...something at ALL cablecams have issues with with fast accelerations and sudden stops. Typically you get a little wobble or horizon sway, the Movi preformed beautifully with this, as seen in the footage...It was shot with the the RED Epic Camera, at 24 frames, with 48fps and 96 fps. Lenses were a 24mm and a 50mm. Span was around 170ft and went low to hight, starting around 3 feet off the ground to 8 feet hight. Enjoy!
Here's an edit of Condorcam flying at the Colorado Freeride Fest in Winter Park, CO. We had the Red Epic Camera on this year's event. Shot at 4K and 60 Frames/sec.
