«Zimoun creates complex kinetic sound sculptures by arranging industrially produced parts according to seemingly simple rules. Using motors, wires, ventilators, etc.., he creates closed systems that develop their own behavior and rules similarly to artificial creatures. Once running, they are left to themselves and go through an indeterminable process of (de)generation.

Mont Orgueil Castle set the scene for a new kind of battle. The ancient structure stood immutable as a torrent of light was unleashed by the creative minds at seeper, bursting upon the old stones with a new-era vengeance. Art and technology, in perfect congress, mounted a spectacular assault upon this icon of a violent history.
The result was not fear, but wonder. The hill exploded with life and art; organic and digital forms seamlessly taking their places as part of the ageing monument, repainting it, eager to bring us into renewed contact with our past. Because art reconnects us with our history, creating new relationships with things long dead. And seeper put a new face on this old creature, letting it breath again for a new generation.
