Egypt is changing

I made this video with the help of many friends to help promote a more proactive, positive post revolution Egypt. This is part of a campaign that talks about many issues in the Egyptian society. Video is in Arabic (No Subs) Shot using a Canon 7D using an ikan rig, and a kessler cineslider for the moving shots. All shot using natural light DP my good friend Joseph Louis.

Egyptian Youth Define Democracy

In 2010 we had this idea that we wanted to make a movie that would talk about Democracy and teach it to the younger generation of Egypt. We filmed with kids ages 7-16 asked them to define Democracy and to tell us a story that would elaborate on the concept. What is amazing to me is that one of them told a story of people uniting together and overthrowing a Dictator. Which is exactly what happened in Egypt in jan and feb of 2011.
