Iceland. Land of contrasts: Hot water and Ice, situated in the North Atlantic, right above the mid-ocean ridge that separates America and Europe.
Shooting was done in two stays (2 weeks each) in 2005 & 2006 (both in September) with a result of 15 hours of footage.
Camera was a SONY Z1. I used some COKIN semi-grey Filters in some of the shots to get the sky as dark as I wanted it to be. Almost no color correction was done in the post, but the timelapse and slo-mo.

Moving shots done with an 8' Kessler Crane. Continuing in the tradition of the previous few films. It's the idea of penetrating the walls we build up around ourselves.
Canon XHA1/Letus Ultimate combo.
Actually, the autumn leaves season has just begun here in Tokyo and the peak will be in December but I didn't want to miss the deadline of the Philip Bloom Film Competition 2. So here are the first impressions of the color changes right now, mixed with some scenes from the city in b/w, inspired by the music which has been given for the challenge.
Dartmoor is a national park about 30 miles from where I live. I've never really visited the moorland before so for a couple of days in September I took my camera and explored.
Shot on the Sony EX1, no adaptors.
Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
