"This was shot in my Bed-stuy brownstone home & around the way in Bed-Stuy/Ft. Greene, Brooklyn NY.
Oftentimes, you may find yourself reminiscing about someone you dig while out for a corner store run or walk.
Summertime in the hood is swell, folks."

Me and director Nahgee went out to my manager Craig's neck of the woods, Boyds, Maryland on the hottest week of the summer this year. So if you see me sweating like a slave, that's why, lol. Shot this in 2 days. Then once things cooled down a bit we went out to Connecticut for a weekend and shot down by the shore. I really wanted to capture the feel of what made me write this song. So I went to the places that inspired the project.
Had alot of fun shooting it with friends and enjoying the summer countryside.
Enjoy!
