Here is the final film from the NAE Animation Workshop Summer 2009, held at the New Art Exchange in Nottingham UK.
The story is based on the Disposable People exhibition and tells the story of a boy who is kidnapped and subjected to a life of slavery.
In summer 2007 I ran a workshop programme with the YMCA to produce a finished piece of animation. Each teenager involved in the project worked collaboratively over the summer months, contributing to the animated film, which was edited together and screened at the end of the project. Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
