Sonatype Nexus

The easiest way to search for Maven artifacts:

1. Go to repository.sonatype.org

2. Type in an artifactId, groupId, package name, SHA checksum, or Class name into the search field.

3. Press Enter to search the Central Maven repository, and a number of other important Maven repositories.

Nexus 1.3.4 adds support for Opensearch. Opensearch is a format that allows browsers to search for content. If you use Firefox 2.0 or higher, you use Opensearch every time you search for something in your browser's search integration.

The latest release of Nexus Professional adds support for proxying and grouping Eclipse P2 repositories. If you are an organization that needs to consolidate access to multiple Eclipse plugins, you can use Nexus Professional to start aggregating Eclipse update sites.
