While in Voss, Norway last summer ('07) I was able to grab a 'press' seat on a helicopter ride for a small, but well worth it, fee. We were dropped off at the top of an extremely high cliff where the base jumpers launched from. It was definitely a bit sketch and nerve racking to be so close to the edge without a chute (or being tied in), but had to be done to get some good footage.
