This is a test so um,carry on...

So here it is...finally....My HV30 test!!!

This is not only my first test shoot with the HV30 it's also my first time using Sony Vegas. So I've got ALOT to learn and ALOT of kinks to work out.

For the shoot I used the HV30 pretty much out of the box. Only add on I used was a UV filter. The cam settings were on Cinemode and I was filming in 30p.

As I wasn't sure what I was doing with Vegas you'll notice that the letterbox is only around the still shots. Not sure why that happened. I had wanted the letterbox for the entire piece but it didn't happen. In the editor I had letterbox action but once it rendered it was gone.

Effects used were slight Film Grain and Circa 1980 effects. (kind of funny that i've got this great camera that can shoot crystal clear images and I want to degrade the image and make it look old)
