Imagine a house that uses no net energy over the course of a year! Silver Peasant Productions follows one such infill duplex now under construction in the older Sunnyside neighborhood of Portland, OR. The trek house is a low energy passive house design - using a small photovoltaic system the aim is to achieve net-zero energy use. Portland State University will monitor the building's performance through remote sensors.
