Camping next to the runway in Smiley Creek, Idaho, the stories are flowing as the temperature drops at the 7,000' elevation. After a night of freezing, damp weather, we rise to find the runway shrouded in clouds. The weather clears as we prepare to depart for Johnson Creek.

Dreamland Squadron flies to Johnson Creek for a three day stay. We fly fish the creek, but we are too early and precede the migration. We visit the local town of Yellow Pine (the last town in the US to receive dial up telephone service according to the locals). Our Saturday arrival finds the Backcountry Pilots community having a great gathering and dinner. Many thanks to Backcountry Pilots. org for letting RV drivers crash the dinner. What a great group of pilots.

As the weekend passed, we find we have Johnson Creek to ourselves. Many flights are made to the local area strips. We enjoy the camp fire music and witness a windy night that produces loud cracks that echo through the valley as large trees fall before the driving winds. We break camp at Johnson creek and head to Montana to spend some time at West Fork lodge. There we enjoy great food, great company, fly fishing and mountain flying.
I am truely inspired by your absolutely incredible journey series. Great job all around, filming, editing, music...looking forward to the next one. You guys are Legends.
