  3. Every year the city of Albuquerque host the largest hot air balloon event in the world, the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.
Each morning begins very early as a group of 6-12 hot air balloons known as Dawn Patrol, ascent into the deep blue sky before sunrise. These skilled pilots test wind and weather conditions as other pilots and crew begin to lay out hundreds of balloons across the field.
Just as dawn breaks, the next wave of balloons begin to lift off. When the sun rises above the Sandia Mountains it simultaneously fills the morning with beautiful light as the balloons fill the sky with color. The next 60-90 minutes are a great mix of fun and chaos as several hundred more balloons lift off, wave after wave.
I had a absolute blast capturing this nine day festival. Even though the weather cancelled several events it was nevertheless an incredibly beautiful and successful time! Thank you for taking the time to watch :)

This short film only shows about half of the footage I captured. Stay tuned for a longer, extended cut :)

The first Stormscapes here (may ease you into the second one): vimeo.com/86112567

High plains storms are some of the most beautiful and wild in the world. I spent May - September 2014 photographing all types of severe weather in Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Colorado. This time lapse project is a result of that effort. From rainbows to tornadoes, there is a little bit of everything in here.

  5. When the film director Patrick Peris enters the universe of Sandra Chevrier the little moments of the day to day life of the artists becomes an enchainment of poems. The spectator takes place in Sandra's sacred home of creation and watches the work while it becomes alive trough the eye of the creator.

Sandra Chevrier currently lives in Montreal, Quebec. She is a gaze collector, an idea chaser and a full time single mom. Her work takes her traveling over a broad range of fluctuating emotional enigmas and concepts that have set the standard of our modern communication. Working in a home studio, Sandra produces her work at a full-time scale, aggressively pursuing a common thread until it is worn away, leaving her to begin on a new path.
She exposes the limitations within our world, our self-imposed expectations and the cages we have allowed to bar us from fullness of life's experience.

A dance between reality and imagination, truth and deception, cure and poison.
