Concrete Drift follows the experiences of Fionn, a nine-year-old boy who drifts through his surroundings with no apparent purpose or meaning. The first of my two graduation films. Winner of the Urbis Audience Award at the Exposures Film Festival 2008.
SYNOPSIS: Carefree depicts three dedicated carers, the mothers of children who are severely disabled. Humour and compassion are compellingly evoked as the film documents the carers' preparations for a well-deserved break in Blackpool. The filmmakers, granted remarkable access by the families, provide an essential voice to those often ignored by mainstream media.
