China's policy of settling all of 2.25 million Tibetan nomads is a death sentence to the nomadic way of life in Tibet, an intrinsic part of Tibetan culture. Last Fall, I spent 5 days exploring Tibet. I wanted to attempt to mimic through these images and sounds how beautifully strange of an experience it was. In some ways, it was breath taking. In other ways, I felt tension and anxiety. Many months later and I still don't completely know how I feel about it. But -- there's no other place on the planet that I'd rather go back to than Tibet.
