At 0:29 the Half Moon starts to light up Mt. Baker and the rest of Iceberg Lake

At 0:39 is when the Northern Lights start acting up! It was a pleasant surprise to see the Aurora this far south!

It is not for me to call Trondheim a city outside of normal physics. It’s true there’s a medieval church where crying ravens corkscrew after midnight. True that a quiet woman serving us beautiful Spanish tapas somehow multiplied our leftovers and sent us away with bread for three days. Also true: we nodded hello to Max von Sydow coming out of a low and torchlit tavern, although it was Max from 1957 and not the Max of today. He didn’t look as haunted as you might expect.

None of these wonders appear in this film because in each case it was dark and I was not filming. Here is a short picture of a twilit city where time resembles your impetuous friend, equally happy with wild adventure or a long nap, and always looking to change direction.
