Tasmania, March 2012
During our stay in Tasmania where we traveled to to see Chris racing in Devonport. Back then expecting a decision whether Olympics yes or no, a thing that didn't happen until now. We lived in this most beautiful Silver Mountain Ridge Retreat, a place so far away from all kind of men's noises. Our guests at night have been possums and wallabies only. It was close to the little town of Sheffield.
One late afternoon (unfortunately, we had only 3 days there) Fritz and I got ourselves a special treat and took a break from triathlon. We went on a expedition to the Silver mine from which the place got its name. Our sole equipment were cameras and rubber boots.
This video was courageously shot by Fritz on our walk through the rain forest to this old Silver mine. It got something of the Blair Witch Project. Believe me, we had lots of fun mixed with some good suspense.

or Talking with Prof. Raymond J Playford at Tasmania University
Raymond Playford is one of the few persons who is doing lots of research at the borderline between food and medicine collecting data and thus evidence for the medical effects of foods. The second part of our talk is about the big problem of gut permeability under stress conditions, especially in athletes.
Doping has ever since been an actor in the Tour de France, all winners have been involved in doping. "Only recently", Bengt Kayser stresses, "we try to invent something new, the Tour without doping".
What we always forget is that sport per se is unfair and whatever rules the anti-doping legislation launches, sports still remain unfair. No rules can create the genetic super model. Of course, as Ronnie puts it as an athlete you have to behave according to the rule otherwise you have to quit. But on the other hand we need people like Bengt Kayser who stand up and raise their voice.
Bengt Kayser almost became a professional percussionist. Music still or better again plays an important role in his life. And it is not amazing that good scientists have creative minds. Because without an idea and the courage to pursue it and find scientific proof for it no excellency can be achieved. Here talks Bengt the musician.

The light-hearted manifesto of a group initiative beyond institutional constraints
We are a group of people with similar mindsets. Our credo is that whatever there exists in this world could also be seen from another angle with other conclusions drawn. This refers to everything from objects such as concrete tools, to activities such as sports, arts or research and the more abstract phenomena such as denkstils, mindsets and philosophies. All and everything is embedded and evolving through tradition, education and the course of knowledge processing over an individual life-span.
Writing on the blank pages of health
Our shift of focus aims at health. Our rationale is that it may not be so much a question of more research and more money, but a question of changing mindset or denkstil respectively.
A health revolution in our opinion can only take place, if we make a difference not producing more of the same but make a qualitative shift by looking at what we already know from a different angle. Scrutinizing the metaphors we use in our Western world to explain the body and its functions may be a beginning to better understand how we tick.
Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
