This whole project has been an amazing experience. The two of us became friends through Vimeo and explored a shared interest in timelapsing Yosemite National Park over an extended period of time. We'd like to expand this idea to other locations and would appreciate any suggestions for a future project.

Project Yosemite was featured as a main story on Yosemite National Park's Spring Newsletter.: yosemitepark.com/timelapse-sprnews-2012.aspx

  3. Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) is an amazing up and coming city. This time lapse is a culmination of 10,000 RAW images and multiple shoots capturing some of the cities relentless energy and pace of change.

Everyone who has visited Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam knows part of the magic (love it or hate it) is in the traffic. Ever since I first set foot in HCMC I have been captivated by the cities energy. Saigon is a city on the move unlike anything I have experienced before which I wanted to capture and share.

Thanks to everyone who helped with the film and thanks also to the numerous kind people who allowed me access to some amazing locations.

  5. The footage from the factory is from the oldest motor plant in the world. It was founded in 1864 by Eugen Langen and August Otto. Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach worked here from 1876 in a management position. Here is the origin of the motorized world. Now the building should be demolished to create space for a new cable factory...

The video sequences are taken with a canon 5D MK II which I have borrowed for two days ,.... too short to become familiar with this amazing camera.

    Photo sequences (Nikon D90): 00:37 ; 00:52 ; 01:07 ; 01:14 ; 01:32

Video sequences (Canon 5D MKII): Rest

Unfortunately the video jiggles a bit on vimeo...
