While the visitor keeps their eyes shut, a moving platform guides a pen in their hand to draw a self-portrait, using computer vision to track their face and generate a line drawing. The result is a machine-aided drawing, a self-portrait you could never draw.
Here we're testing an early version that moves about a half or third the speed of the more recent versions.
"Blind Self Portrait" is a collaboration between Matt Mets and Kyle McDonald, installed for the first time at the NYC Resistor interactive show https://interactiveshow2012.eventbrite.com/?ref=ecount

In celebration of the Luminale 2012 [www.luminale.com], in Frankfurt Germany, Kollision [www.kollision.dk], together with Martin Professional [www.martin.com], and light designers Katja Winkelmann [www.licht01.de/] and Jochen Schröder, developed an interactive media facade, Photophore (2012). Photophore is a five storey veil of light situated along the river Main at the unique Seven Swans multi-functional restaurant, bar, office and hotel. Here, in the heart of Frankfurt, everyone is invited to take part in the festival of light. By scanning a QR code mounted on the facade the users are brought to a website [www.kollision.dk/public/wind/], which allows them to interact with the veil. The website invites you to swipe your finger across the touch screen of your smart phone, which will make the veil of light act as if it is being pushed, pulled, and thrown in response to input from the people on the street. The texture and dynamics of the veil adds a tangible materiality to the Seven Swans…
VISUATARI - 3d Videomapping installation
By Tonner Vi & veoseven

Visuatari is a work using the technique of 3D videomapping, in order to contrast this latest technology with classic sound and picture to video games, giving honor to that days, where children admired such technology could not fail to see and play in front of that virtual world so unknown and so interesting as well.
Enjoy !!!

I developed a very fast and flexible projection mapping system which we were asked to present at Pecha Kucha Brisbane. This was part of that demonstration, however the same setup can very rapidly map out all sorts of shapes.
There are a couple of cuts, but NO post FX at all, I promise. Developed in VVVV.

Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
