The most famous bicycle race in the world, Le Tour De France celebrates it’s 100th birthday this year. Oakley is one of the official partners of the race and to celebrate they have produced a range of special edition glasses.
The world-renowned eyewear specialists have collaborated with Charge Bikes to produce six custom bicycles to match six of their most iconic sunglasses, highlighting Oakley’s link to the cycling world. In this video we see how the bikes were produced and take a quick tour around Oakley’s UK headquarters.
Each bike is a variation on the standard Charge Juicer road bike, painted Oakley Heritage Grey, and features a custom Oakley edition Spoon saddle, Oakley grips and custom frame graphics, all colour-matched to the relevant model of sunglasses. The bikes will be now be displayed by Oakley at stores around Europe.
