The 25th annual Arts Advocacy Day is the only national event that brings together a broad cross section of America’s cultural and civic organizations, along with hundreds of grassroots advocates from across the country, to underscore the importance of developing strong public policies and appropriating increased public funding for the arts.

A key component of Arts Advocacy Day, the Nancy Hanks Lecture on Arts and Public Policy is a leading national forum for arts policy intended to stimulate dialogue on policy and social issues affecting the arts. It is held each year at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC.

Americans for the Arts extends special thanks to Ovation for its sponsorship of the 25th Annual Nancy Hanks Lecture on Arts and Public Policy. Additional support is provided by The Rosenthal Family Foundation, Bank of America, and General Dynamics. Americans for the Arts is also pleased to partner with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as the official site of the 25th Annual Nancy Hanks Lecture.
