Project: Rotting Hill Director: James Cunningham
Software: Maya | Mental Ray | Nuke | Photoshop | After Effects
CG Tasks: Modelled and rigged guts between actors’ mouths. Animated the guts’ texture UVs as well as geometry and animated shadow casting geometry. Rotoscoped out the prop string between actors’ mouths, which was shot against a moving background (no green screen), their clothing, hair, arms and the prosthetic guts in the foreground. This involved creating replacement matte background plates in Photoshop to composite with the live action plates in Nuke. Created and animated contact shadows, colour corrected various elements and composited renders before handing off for final colour grade.

Project: Cocked Up Director: Oliver Hilbert
