Typography was the inspiration behind this short animation. I’m truly in love with this art form and have always loved how simple, yet effective the Arial Black font can be.

I decided to make the animation using After Effects, taking advantage of 2D graphics in a 3D world. My knowledge in motion graphics gave me the chance to create an animation that would best describe who I am, using only 5 letters W, O, R, D and S.

This short animation has no real meaning behind it, in fact it all started as an experiment into colour and typography. I added the Sexy Beast quotes to the design and some of Don Logan’s sound bites to make it a little more provocative! while watching it back I decided it needed a little music. Ludovico Einaudi’s African Melody #3 was the perfect complimentary piece for Don’s colourful dialogue.
