This module focuses on Rigid Body Dynamics. We will first explore the shelf tools which are a great way to quickly set up a dynamic simulation. We will then get a good understanding what is happening in the simulation at the dynamics and geometry level. We will then look at a couple of simple approaches to geometry destruction.
In this lesson, you will explore the creation of a volcano using Houdini's Pyro FX tools. Starting with the volcano shelf tool, you will see what you can get out of the box then dive into the network to customize the look. You will learn about some of the key Pyro FX tools while learning how to define velocity fields to sculpt and shape your volcano's plume.
The final module for this beginners webinar series focuses on Houdini’s built in compositor. We will explore the IMG context as a general compositor and a tool to use 2D images and animations to drive 3D effects.
