Urban Sketchers Singapore
Music: Suite Irlandaise by Avel Glas
Video was shot with GH2 and 12-35mm lens
In conjunction with the Lunar New Year and the 34th Worldwide Sketchcrawl Day on the 21 January 2012, some of us from the Urban Sketchers Singapore group headed over to Chinatown to capture the festive mood on paper.
And here, I have attempted to capture my sketching process on video, which was entirely shot, edited and posted with an iPhone 4, together with the iMovie application.
Music by Jason Shaw.
Hope you'll like it!
Thank y'all so much for the likes, comments and the follows. I am really humbled.
My parents perform this art (Ebru in Turkish, Paper Marbling in English) and the footage was shot for a promo piece (vimeo.com/22325846) I was working on back then and my dad asked me to put a video together for him. This is what came out of that.
For those who is wondering how it's done I'd recommend googling "Paper Marbling" there is plenty of info out there.
