Guests report on the inter-municipal agreement allowing shared services and equipment entered into by Smithfield, North Smithfield, Burrillville and Glocester. The goal of sharing services is to increase efficiency and effectiveness while reducing costs. Specific examples like animal shelters and dispatch services are discussed along with an eye on future collaboration on tax collection, tax assessment, and informational technology services. Guests caution and advice: for this to work all stakeholders must be involved.
