Step 3 of making my cigar box uke from Papas Boxes. Note: I put the glue on pretty thick and had a lot cleanup not shown. For the next steps I'll use a little less glue.

Before starting Step 4, which entails installing the neck and the tuner gear box, I'm doing the optional step of glueing a brace on the lid of the box to support the string tension.

Step 4 (part 1) of making my cigar box uke from Papas Boxes. This is the longest step in the process, so I'm breaking it into 2 parts. In this part I sand the geared tuner bracket, setup the neck template, and measure for the geared tuner bracket.

Step 5 of making my cigar box uke from Papas Boxes. In this step I drill the hole for the pick-up jack, then sand and finish the uke with five coats of satin gloss polyurethane.
