I just finished building my Kodak Zi8 rig, and it's a beast. I couldn't wait to test it so I went around the house and started shooting. Just to note, this rig wasn't built for low light, natural indoor light or night. I plan on doing another test at school for daytime seeing as it would show how well the footage looks in well lit situations.
I plan on making a video explaining step by step how to build your own Frankenstein. Just in time for Halloween too ha! Still waiting to put on my external mics and support rod. So far the rig with everything cost roughly under 600 bucks'
