Under the guidance of Maestro Osmo Vanska, a group of talented young composers is chosen each year to attend a week-long series of seminars and classes at the Minnesota Orchestra in Minneapolis. At the end of the week the Orchestra performs selections from each of the young composer's work. The performance is carried nationally on Minnesota Public Radio.

This video is a look back at the Composers Institute session for 2008.
