Here's a silly, fun, serious, romantic, horrifying, semi-decent short film I made sophomore year of college. It stars Joanna Hartshorne and Aaron Mcdaniel. The shoot got rained out but we still made it work. Vampires, drugs, obsessions, fatalism. It was edited on imovie in 2009 and could stand a serious recut. if anybody rallys hard enough I'll remaster. Enjoy.
A teaser for Part Two of the three-part ensemble horror-drama Yog-Sothoth's Cautionary Tales for Young Adults.
Jack, a recent graduate of Miskatonic University who specializes in ancient and dead tongues, is called upon by the illustrious but shadowy Drake Corporation to translate an ancient, possibly occult tome. When Jack arrives at the massive Drake Corp. storage facility where he will be living and working in almost total isolation, he is pleased with both his massive salary and his affinity for the work itself. But as Jack delves deeper into the ancient text, his growing alienation begins to manifest itself in troubling ways. Is he simply paranoid, or does the storage facility hold darker secrets than we can guess?
A recreation/re-imagining of the classic Twilight Zone episode. DV guerilla filmmaking at its best, "The Invaders" showcases Andrew Katz in a one-man whirlwind performance and Mac Smullen behind the lens. Conceived, written, and filmed in a single night in the winter of 2008.
