In June 2009, Sri Lanka officially declared the End of the War.
After almost thirty years of Sri Lankan Brothers and Sisters killing eachother... it has come to an End. And now it seems like everyone is finally tired of the killing and the innocent bloodshed, and just wants peace. Let us hope no other life has to end, that there will be no racism ever again, and that all Sri Lankan's will come together as one, towards a new future.
This is my tribute to the beautiful people of my beautiful Island of Sri Lanka.

Nel giugno del 2009 lo Sri Lanka ha finalmente dichiarato la fine di una guerra durata quasi 30 anni. A quanto pare non si uccideranno più fra di loro, e non ci saranno più discriminazioni. La gente vuole solo stare in pace, speriamo che sia possibile.
