This is a short trailer to give you a feel of what the event in George Town, Exuma was all about (Truly amazing!). My work of this event in the Bahamas and the Grenada Sailing festival will be used in a full length documentary produced and directed by Alexis Andrews called "Vanishing Sail". This film will be about the last of the working sailboats and true local sailors that sailed them in the Caribbean and Bahamas. Follow the link here vanishingsail.com/home.html to read and see more about the documentary and get involved!
A rogue with an eye for salvage - and the ladies - Ray: A Life Underwater is an affectionate portrait of one man's deep sea diving career, told through his extraordinary collection of marine artefacts.
Like a modern-day pirate, 75-year-old Ray Ives has been scouring the seabed for treasure his whole life.
The former commercial diver has plundered the deep for over fifty years, bringing to the surface anything that glittered -- even gold.
In a shipping container near the water, Ray tends his museum of cannon, bottles, bells, swords, portholes and diving gear.
He even still takes to the water in a 1900s diving suit.
Ray can be found most days at his museum at Yacht Haven Quay, Plymouth.

The sea was angry that day my friends... like an old man trying to return soup at a deli. We took to the high seas of Lake Erie on that September day, at the end of summer in 2013. We managed to conquer the blowing gusts on the 12th largest fresh water ocean in the world and we returned safely to a bounty of potato chips and tins of ale from the local port town.

This is the version with englisch subtitles. The original video can be found here:
Some Impressions of the Unity Line Regatta 2013 in Świnoujście, Poland. During the event I shot the footage with a Pentax K5 plus 40/2.8 Limited as well as a GoPro Hero 1. These are also my first footsteps with audio, but as you can hear I have to learn alot. First of all: never try to use the integrated microphones of the Zoom for interviews :)
