Dane Uhler, beekeeper from Santa Barbara, California, is profiled in this short film. He teaches people the art of beekeeping, a tradition he embraces with intimacy. The backyard honey produced is more than golden nectar in a jar, it's a poetic acknowledgement of our place in the ecosystem.
Combining his carpentry skills with his love of nature, Patrick Dougherty utilizes primitive techniques of building to experiment with tree saplings as construction material. Since beginning in 1980, Patrick has left his mark with over two hundred massive sculptures all over the world.
