Taking notes is part of every college student's life, but for some it can be a huge challenge because of a disability. By law, classroom materials, including class notes, must be made available to students with certain disabilities. Virginia Tech provides this important service with help from dozens of student volunteers each year.
The Marching Virginians, like the Virginia Tech football team, are preparing for the 2011 season. Donors help make it possible for each of the nearly 300 Marching Virginians to have access to free instruments and equipment.

On Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, university officials dedicated the Harry S. and Patsy B. Williams Clubhouse at the Pete Dye River Course of Virginia Tech. The lead gift for the clubhouse came from a trust set up after the deaths of Harry and Patsy Williams.
