The Archive of Modern Conflict (AMC) was established 20 years ago in London and contains around 4 million photos including works by any well-known figures, from GUSTAVE LE GRAY to BORIS MIKHAILOV, as well as thousands of unknown photographers.

• LOS ANGELES COUNTY MUSEUM OF ART (Los Angeles, USA) presents an exhibition featuring outstanding photographic self-portraits drawn from the Audrey and Sydney Irmas Collection: "Face to Face, The Audrey and Sidney Irmas Collection at LACMA".The exceptional diversity and quality of the Irmas collection constantly enriched in collaboration with Los Angeles County Museum of Art reveals the singularity of self-portraiture to be a perennially relevant focus of photographic practice, from its beginning until today.* This exhibition is organized by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and supported in part by The Audrey and Sydney Irmas Charitable Foundation.
• HUIS MARSEILLE (Amsterdam, The Netherlands), with "Doubling Presence", a selection of its acquisitions on the notion of the double, illustrates the various ways to visually impose one's presence through the repetition and mirroring of images.
• FOTOMUSEUM WINTERTHUR (Switzerland) displays "Cut/Paste", a presentation which deals with a special strategy used by artists since the Seventies: the appropriation of found photographic images, included in archives, from the media mainly, and images directly borrowed from the history of photography.
