Hi I’m Ivan Schwartz, and together with my brother Elliot, and sister Debra, we own and operate StudioEIS, (in Brooklyn, New York), one of the most acclaimed sculpture and design studios in America today.
Now we want to continue to honor some of America's unsung hometown heroes.
In each episode of "Hometown Hero", a nominated American hero will be selected. (People will eventually nominate heroes over the internet). And a life-size human cast sculpture will be created at our studio, and then that completed sculpture will be presented at that American hero’s hometown, or city for permanent public display.
Hometown Hero is a show about people. We will cut back and forth between the selected hero, and how he or she became one; the talented craftspeople at our studio creating an enduring work of art on a tight deadline; (we will bring the hero to NYC under false pretense to “cast their likeness”); the town secretly preparing for the sculpture’s presentation, dedication, and/or party, and the surprised emotional response from the hero, and those whom surround, and honor him, her, or them.
Every town has a hero that deserves to be honored. The wounded war veteran, the young soldier dead from combat, the everyday person who spends their lifetime going above and beyond, the sports hero, the person who secretly gives to others, or the person who never gives up.

Hometown Heroes is like “American Chopper", with the added emotional heartbeat that connects us all.
