Instancing objects onto a hair system in Cinema 4D is actually very simple and incredibly useful. This technique would be very useful for any object that you want to animate the same way you would want hair to move. You can add wind to have them gently blow around, you can brush or push it with collider objects. And the best part is you can put these on anything - anything you can do with hair you can do with an object instanced onto it.
