Katie Green, an artist from Canada came to Kathmandu to participate in a street art project called Kolor Kathmandu in 2013. She raised funds for her trip through a campaign called "Kolors of Kathmandu" on Indigogo. She started out her trip in an orphanage in Sunokoti where she got to know the culture by hanging out with the children of the orphanage. Her mural was based on the wildlife and culture of the district Sankhuwasaba, in the North West part of Nepal. If you ever come to Kathmandu, you can find Katie's mural in Patan near the Patan Durbar Square.
