  2. Graphika Manila is the premiere design conference in the Philippines. The international speakers for this year were Jessica Hische, Ash Thorp, The Mill, Dvein & Sara Blake, along with local speaker Isabel Gatuslao.

    We were asked to work on the branding for this year's event. We started with the idea of gods coming down to connect with its people, and from this basic idea it all spun out to notions of dissecting gods and figuring out what makes them breathe. We used a design aesthetic that fuses Pinoy ethnic culture and abstract ethereal forms.

    Here is the almost 2-minute long opener that we created for Graphika Manila 2014.

  4. A whole heap of talented people were involved in this MTV 2011 Brand Refresh Reel.

    Everything about the MTV 2011 refresh had been thoroughly considered and brilliantly executed by a team of talented people - and it was my job to help explain that.

    Graphically pointing out why certain decisions have been made and highlighting various aspects of others. I animated the 'explanatory' sections of the film in an effort to point out the thought that went in to every decision. From how the MTV logo has subtly evolved - to what the thorough brand guidelines demand of print, online and onscreen work.

    I was Art Directed by Carlos Carrasco and Dylan Griffith at MTV World Design Studio Milan and the final film was edited and put together by Alex Holden. Music by Alan Boorman (Wevie).
