The Richmond Hill Ringette Association (RHRA) was founded in 1981, in the city of Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. Our association is a not for profit organization, run by enthusiastic volunteers. Our mission is to promote the sport of Ringette, in the York region of southern Ontario. The association is the home of Richmond Hill Lightning, and has a membership of about 230 players, ranging from age 5 to 18.

Richmond Hill Ringette welcomes non-skaters and skaters to join at any age level. Playing ringette is a fun way to learn and improve skating skills.

Ringette is a great winter team sport for girls. Played throughout Ontario, Canada and worldwide since 1963, the rules of ringette emphasize speed, strategy and team effort.
