I used music under the creative commons copyright available on jamendo.com. You are free to download and broadcast their music as much as you want as far as you mention the name of the artist and you do not use their work for a commercial purpose, that's the deal !

So here are the different music I used:

    "El Gardia Del Somnis"
    Roger Subirana Mata

    "La Busqueda de Ianna"
Epic Soul Factory - Volume One

    "Ancestral Voices"
    Roger Subirana Mata

    "Adventures of the Deaf Dreamer"
    Josh Woodward

    "El Secret Del Mar"
    Roger Subirana Mata

The sounds effects such as helicopter, car drifting... were picked up on freesound.org, where you can download sounds effects for free for non-commercial use and commercial use.

I wanted to thanks to my parents for bringing me there with my all family and being so tolerant when I was filming, thanks to my sister for appearing in few scenes and often carrying my gear, thanks to my brother for shooting boat diving scenes and me diving off the cliff, thanks to the two girls in Bonifacio for their lovely smile, thanks to the fisher men for letting me taking few images of them doing their job in the early morning, and many thanks to Devin Graham who make me dream every new video he is posting on youtube, you can check his work on his Youtube channel here : youtube.com/user/devinsupertramp

    Technical info :

Almost all of flying footage were shot with a Glidecam HD-2000, the static one were either taken on a tripod or on the Glidecam.

All movie was shot with a canon 7D and a 18-135mm at either 30fps or 60 for the slow motion sequences. A Polarizing filter was very often used to warm colours and give deep blue skies !

The film was edited with Final Cut Pro X, which is good for some things and not that great for others.

The credit part was done with After Effects Cs5, which took me an endless time to put it together as it was the very first time for me using it (thanks to a couple of guys for their tutorial on Youtube ;-)

At the end the film was recorded over a two weeks period. Over 730 scenes were shot for about 60GB raw videos.

The overall took me about 50 hours of editing, between, music selection and cutting, film editing, rendering and compressing it on compressor.

Thanks all for watching, and don't forget to check out new videos coming soon ;-)

  2. Jeremy Clarkson called it the most exciting, best looking, most expensive, and the fastest road going Porsche ever made. We agree with Jeremy and that's why we decided to bring the CGT down for our trip to Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in 2010. Stopping at the coast off 17 mile drive, the boys at Wagenwerks talked it over with the birds, gained their cooperation, and snapped this quick short for us.

Check out my latest film The Quiet City: Winter in Paris.

Have you ever wanted to visit Big Sur? Yes or no, take my advice and GO! Call in sick or do whatever you need to do and go; you will not be sorry. I have been dreaming of exploring Big Sur for years now and finally did it! My wife and I packed our car and drove with no plans other than to end up in Big Sur. Driving along the Pacific Coast Highway is an incredible experience and being able to really take our time and explore was easily the best start to a new year I've ever had.

Trying to bring the Spirit of California's central coast into this film has been difficult. I've tried my best, but pictures just can't do it justice. No camera can perfectly capture the raw power and beauty of the Pacific Ocean or the feeling of standing near the ledge of a high cliff while the sun sets.

I used my Blackmagic Cinema Camera for this film and the color and latitude that shooting in raw provides still amazes me. The flexibility that uncompressed raw gives you in post production makes the 1 Terabyte per 2 hours of footage data rate worth it. I also can't wait to use the new firmware that's been announced! Many more great options to expand the capabilities and improve the workflow. It definitely would have made this shoot a bit easier.

P.S. If you can, watch this film with good speakers and turn it up! Be careful though, it gets much louder towards the end.
