In the spirit of Connecticut Libraries Annual Snapshot Day in April, we took the “pulse” of our Library by asking: “How does the Tunxis Library help you succeed?” The response was so wonderful, we just had to share it! Only a few of the 100+ comments are represented in this brief video.
On November 10, the Tunxis Community College Foundation sponsered a fundraising breakfast titled "Beyond the Green Monster: Business Strategies for Major League Results," with Sam Kennedy, president of Fenway Sports Management and executive vice president/chief operating officer for the Boston Red Sox.

In celebration of National Latino-Hispanic month, Tunxis Community College presented the Latin-Jazz sounds of Goza on September 22, 2011. The Office of Minority Affairs, Alumni Association, SGA, and the Office of the Dean of Students teamed up to bring this wonderful performance, featuring the beautiful talents our own Tunxis student, Cristina! Donations from the event will be used toward the purchase of discounted bus passes for our commuter students.
