1. This 8 minute experimental film was featured in a collaborative exhibition between the National Museum of the American Indian in New York and the Heard Museum in Phoenix Arizona. The exhibit was on display from October of 2007 though September 2008. The film was projected on a wall in HD and surrounded with walls decorated with skateboard decks from the last 10 years. This film is a personal portrait of 2 incredibly adaptive cultures, one very ancient and one still evolving, yet both are indigenous to North America. Skateboarding and Native American Culture.

The Apaches portrayed in this film are White Mountain Apache Scouts of the 1880's, and they are depicted by young Skateboarders from the community of Whiteriver on the White Mountain Apache Indian Reservation in Arizona. The footage spans the last 15 years of skateboarding on the Reservation, and depicts a very specific group of skateboarders that have grown up in the same culture and environment. This is an effort to portray two fluid cultures in constant motion.

The REMIX exhibit featured the works of 15 indigenous artists.

  2. Jess, Ronnie, Wish and I were skating at James' place and we filmed this. It is shot with my Canon 7D. Hope you like! It's sort of a commercial/promo or something to help let you all know that 4wheelwarpony is still here and will continue well into the future with skater support!

  3. This was the day after the Kayenta Skateboard Competition. We came out to skate a little with Chaytiin and Chee. Wish felt like hucking himself around, so we filmed it. We also got to tour Monument Valley courtesy of Chee and Chaytiin!

  5. Well I had some work in Tuba City that allowed me time to film with Trevor there! Tuba is his home town! My next little short will be with Tony Steele. Trevor and Tony are the youngest riders on 4wheel and I'm very proud to have both of them on our team! We're looking forward to their future!
