UAB and BBVA Compass have partnered to create the BBVA Compass Global Scholars Internship Program and provide UAB students a hands-on learning opportunity. Students participate in a four-week, UAB-led study abroad experience in Madrid, Spain, and complete a 10-week paid summer internship with BBVA Compass upon return.

The UAB School of Business will be named for longtime supporters Charles and Patsy Collat in recognition of their $25 million in gifts and pledges to the school.
