This session will introduce attendees to basic VisionPlex tools, including finding VisionPlex screens, screen checkouts and publishing, configuring element appearance, moving elements, applying permissions and screen options.
This session will be 2 hours in length and be broken into three separate topics:
Checklists & Activity Manager — This session will cover the Checklist and Activity Manager Modules for assigning responsibility and how this works in POL. This is an advanced topic and will be geared towards people with knowledge of the Checklist and Activity Manager Modules.
Email Notifications & DCS — This session will cover the set-up of the Email Notification Manager and how it works in POL. In addition, we will cover some of the different types of approvals within the Document Control System. These are advanced topics and will be geared towards people that want a better understanding these topics within POL.
Problem Control — This session will cover the Problem Control System and focus on the set-up of the email notifications and assignments within POL concerning this module. This is an advance topic and will be geared towards people with knowledge of the Problem Control Module and that are looking to gain some additional knowledge.
This session is intended for users with little or no experience in SQL programming. After a short introduction to relational database theory using examples from the Plex Online data structure, this course introduces the SQL programming language and uses the Plex Online SQL Query Writer tool to develop a query, convert it into a VisionPlex data source, and construct a completely custom VisionPlex screen.
