It's early season at Mountain High and team riders Cory Cronk, Trevor Haas, Geoff Isringhausen, Curtis Hill and others are out in force. Good times at MHR!
Opening Oct. 29th, 2009, Mountain High continues the thirteen-season trend of being the first SoCal resort to open. This also marks the resort's earliest opening on machine-made snow. Mountain High's Faultline Terrain Park put out a variety of classic features as well as a few new signature jibs, and received great feedback from MHR regulars as well as Pro Team riders Cory Cronk and Louie Vito who were on hand for opening weekend. Looks like it's shaping up to be another great season at Mountain High, Wrightwood, CA.
The guns are locked and loaded. Snowmaking has been going around the clock and opening day is tomorrow, October 29th, for all 09/10 season pass holders!
Mountain High's annual Season Pass Sale kicked off Friday, Sept 28 at the Vans Skate Park, the Block in Orange, CA.
The Mountain High Pro Team - represented by Louie Vito, Mark Frank Montoya (MFM) and Cory Cronk - were in the house along with Derek Dennison, Dylan Thompson, Cole Taylor and Chris Bradshaw for the World Premiere of their new video Hard to Earn. In addition to the SP kickoff and Hard to Earn World Premiere there were lots of giveaways, free food from Wahoo's, and autograph signings; not to mention the epic Vans Skate Park. Good times.

Mountain High is home to not one, but three distinguished resorts. Even though they are only a mile apart, they offer stunning differences in both terrain and atmosphere.
West Resort: The West Resort is filled with a seemingly endless assortment of technical trails and skillfully-designed terrain features for progressive riders and skiers of all skill levels. It is the most youthful of the three areas and the site of many on-hill contests, promotions and live performances. It is also Southern California's only local resort open seven nights a week.
East Resort: The East Resort boasts the longest trails in Southern California serviced by a single high-speed quad. It is also known for its thrilling moguls, gladed tree skiing areas and breathtaking views of the Mojave Desert. Rising as high as 8,200 feet, the East Resort offers traditional skiers and snowboarders a true alpine experience without having to journey far from home.
North Resort: Mountain High's new North Resort offers 70 acres of beginner terrain perfect for families and introductory skiers. It is also home to the North Pole Tubing Park, the largest tubing area in Southern California. Formerly Ski Sunrise, Mountain High North is located directly across from the West Resort and operates Friday through Sunday peak season.
